In downtown Flagstaff, where Humphreys runs into Route 66, the signs point everywhere at once: two interstates, four directions, the airport, 89A, Highway 180, and the Mother Road stretching out both ways. Suddenly you can't go forward, but you can go everywhere. This design is that moment, hand-drawn: the crossroads as a literal set of GPS coordinates and a fairly decent metaphor for your whole life.
It was made for the Route 66 centennial. The road turns 100 on November 11, 2026, and Arizona holds its longest continuously drivable stretch, 385 unbroken miles. These are commemorative, once-in-a-lifetime pieces, with the centennial artwork on the back and a small centennial logo on the front.
