Tourist Season, Right?

Flagstaff sits in a stretch of high desert that people recognize from John Wayne movies without ever knowing its name. Visitors come from all over the country, all over the world, and, if this design is to be believed, from a few other galaxies too.

It's the local's wink of the catalog. We live here, we love it here, and we've earned the right to poke a little fun at the summer crowds, mostly because we understand exactly why they come. When your hometown looks like this, tourist season never really ends. Apparently word got out past the atmosphere.

So the peaks got their escort of playful UFOs, hand-drawn with affection. It's laughing with visitors, never at them. If you've ever been one, welcome. If you've ever complained about them, welcome back.
